Technical Writing
Overview
I started freelance copywriting in high school, taking on whatever work I could find - fashion brands, law offices, charities, and more. Over time, I found myself in blockchain and cryptocurrency work, which pulled me deeper into the intersection of technology and finance. I enjoyed the challenge of quickly learning a new platform or technology and translating that detail into accessible content that captured the nuance without getting tangled in jargon.
Much of that work involved ghostwriting thought leadership, PR pieces, marketing content, and documentation (and even a full book on cryptocurrency at one point), so my name was rarely attached to the finished product. The logos above represent organizations I either wrote for or publications where my writing appeared.
I later contracted with an agency as a Senior Copywriter, where I worked on Meta’s Libra/Diem stablecoin project. I wrote the first public explainer of the Move programming language in collaboration with its lead engineer, managed developer engagement and moderated the developer forum, and helped restructure the documentation site. I also worked on content and redesign for the Facebook for Developers site.
